Champaul, situated on Yanabe Nakamachi, offers a modest experience for those seeking deli-style offerings in Handa. Open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on most days except Thursday, it caters primarily to the takeaway crowd, with no dine-in or delivery options currently available. While some visitors have noted the convenience of picking up items to enjoy by the nearby river, where scenic spider lilies bloom in September, there is an evident lack of wheelchair accessibility, both in the parking area and the entrance.
Feedback about Champaul presents a mixed perspective, with comments on customer service tending towards the negative. Some patrons have recalled unfavorable interactions with staff, suggesting the service might require improvement. Nonetheless, the quick-stop nature of the establishment might cater to those looking for a brief visit to grab some savory or sweet breads on the go.
Priced affordably, Champaul lacks the flair of a full-service dining establishment but remains a choice for those in proximity interested in deli products. The limited information available from the owner or management leaves gaps in understanding its complete offerings and atmosphere. Potential visitors may wish to weigh the existing feedback when considering Champaul as a dining option.

I see some people posting reviews of peach parfait, but the peach parfait shop is not this one, but "Shandor".

No seating, but you can take it out to the nearby river where the spider lilies bloom in September and eat it there. (During the fall festival they make a lot of hamburgers.)I've only been once, tried a savoury and a sweet bread, but I'll be back to try some others.

Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
