Nestled in the heart of Tokyo, on Iidabashi Street, Chan Ki offers a taste of authentic Hong Kong char caan teng cuisine. Despite its unassuming exterior, reminiscent of a typical Chinese restaurant, patrons will find a genuine menu featuring favorites like peanut butter French toast, red bean ice, and HK milk tea. The experience is completed with cozy indoor seating and complimentary Wi-Fi access, though the mobile phone reception can be spotty towards the back of the restaurant.
Chan Ki allows for reservations, but keep in mind it doesn't support credit cards or offer outdoor seating. While a full range of meal options is available, covering brunch through dessert, recent visitor feedback is sparse, with the last review dating back four years. Observations have noted potential inconsistencies in freshness for some items, but the 700 yen lunch set was deemed a good value. Overall, Chan Ki provides a slice of Hong Kong amidst Tokyo's bustling cityscape, but potential guests are advised to visit without expectations of widespread acclaim or current insights from the owner.
