Report incorrect information
I ordered a chicken wrap with a Diet Pepsi at Chances R – East and bit into a large, rock-hard object that appeared to be a bone (at first I even thought it might be a tooth). This could have caused serious injury or choking.
When I told my server, he later said it was a “potato” that must have been left in the deep fryer, which is why it was so hard, and also claimed that cross-contamination in food is “normal.” No apology, replacement, or compensation was offered, even though I couldn’t finish my meal.
What bothered me most was how dismissive this was handled. Food safety concerns should be taken seriously, not brushed off as normal. I hope management addresses this issue to prevent harm to other customers.
