Enjoyed eating a good Hakka cuisine after a long time. The food and the service was outstanding. Antony and his team took care of us very well. Must try place. Right size portions and tasty food. The service is a bit off, we got our appetizer but they didn't bring any napkins, cutlery or plates. Food was good for the price, although the basil beef was a bit soupy. Since Fredericks closed, I have been trying to find a Hakka replacement restaurant near me. Finally, I tried Chang & Huang Thai Restaurant, and it was a good experience. In order of my favourite dishes: Chilli Chicken is good. Flavourful, spicy, good amount of chicken. The onions and green chillies are plentiful. I would get this again. 8/10. The Beef Chowmein is also good. The char flavour from the wok is strong within the dish, so if you are not a fan of that, it won't be for you. I don't mind it. 7.5/10 The chicken fried rice is okay. My issue with this dish is the carrot cubes. I would prefer that they were fried longer before other ingredients were added. They are/were pretty firm and crunchy when chewing, and I am not a fan of textural mouthfeel as a result. 5.5/10. The chicken pakoras are mid. They are 80% breading, 20% chicken morsels. The cumin and coriander are strong within the batter. While well seasoned, it was kind of just a dense, slightly pasty dough ball with the essence of chicken. I am not the audience for it. 4/10.
