Great Chinese food in Bend. Large portions with plenty of leftovers for later. Even bigger portions if you dine in the restaurant vs takeout. We love the mother's chicken and the pork and green beans. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: Our picky kid loves the mother's chicken!

I have to say, I don't leave reviews very often. But I am IMPRESSED with Chan's of Bend Oregon! Bought lunch today. I do love 'Black Bean Sauce'! For decades I didn't know how my favorite dishes were made, and then just a few years ago I realized that a main ingredient was 'Black Bean Sauce' (DOH!) I finally did some research to learn that Szechuan cuisine uses Black Bean Sauce in several dishes (in America). I remember Szechuan was a favorite of mine as a child and teen. I am 'slow on the uptake' on many subjects-asian food included ... Back to subject: I had a superb take out lunch. Enough food to share too! I have found a gem in Bend Oregon- I have finally found my elusive 'Black Bean Sauce' after all of these years (I'm 62 now) @ Chan's!! Reasonably priced too!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
