We went The Chanter on Friday 20th March. We had a buyagift voucher which was a gift from my son. After standing at the bar for five minutes while the two barstaff finished their conversation. We presented our voucher and were given a set menu. I chose fish and chips, but was told the fish, which was supposedly taken out in the morning, was not defrosted yet. This was at 5pm. Two disappointing chicken melt burgers later. No-one asked if we were happy with what we had. Bar staff were disinterested about anything. We won't be back and will dissuade any friends about going, worst meal ever.
