CharKor Guys never disappoints. Even though there’s a lot of competition in Duluth, they’re the best. The charcoal grill makes a big difference—everything had that smoky flavor you don’t always get at KBBQ spots. The galbi was super tender, pork belly was thick and juicy, and the banchan kept coming without us asking. Service was on point and they swapped grills often, which I appreciate. JP was very attentive and was on it every time we asked for anything. Would definitely go back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

Overall, Charkor Guys Korean BBQ wasn’t a bad experience, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The restaurant itself is clean, and the servers were kind and attentive throughout our meal, which I definitely appreciated. We ordered Combo B for five people so we could try a variety of meats. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the taste. Most of the meats were pretty bland, and even the marinated options weren’t very flavorful. I’m not sure if it’s the grill or the charcoal they use, but there was a weird taste that seemed to affect all the meats, and I just couldn’t get past it. Some pieces were also very fatty and chewy to the point where I had to spit them out. The side dishes were just okay. The pasta salad and japchae noodles were both bland, and the salad was a bit too spicy for my personal taste. Since kimchi is already served, I think a lighter green onion spring mix salad would’ve been a nice, refreshing balance. The highlights for me were definitely the kimchi and the pajeon (scallion pancake). Those were the most enjoyable parts of the meal. Not a terrible experience overall, but with better flavor and meat quality, it could be much better. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
