Located on Shichikencho, Che Bar in Shizuoka presents itself as a small, unassuming eatery with a delightfully casual and cozy atmosphere. Known for its Pan Asian cuisine, the restaurant is popular among those seeking a quick bite or a leisurely meal, offering lunch and dinner service. With its availability of alcohol, including beer, cocktails, and spirits, it provides patrons with an additional layer of enjoyment during their experience.
The restaurant accepts cash payments only, and reservations are welcomed, which could be convenient given its modest size. Dining options are plentiful, ranging from small plates to desserts. Despite lacking wheelchair-accessible features, the venue has a welcoming feel that attracts both groups and solo diners, including tourists. Amenities include a bar and washrooms, supporting an extended stay for those wanting to savor their visit.
Patrons have reported memorable experiences, often noting pleasant interactions with the owner and regulars, enhancing the overall charm of Che Bar. While specific dishes frequently receive glowing mentions, especially its allegedly incredible pad thai, it's important to remember that individual opinions can vary. The absence of detailed, recent owner-provided information leaves room for personal exploration for curious visitors during its operating hours throughout the week, except Thursdays.
