My wife and I do a weekly date night, and we try to go to different cuisines. We had been trying to go to Che for a while but never could make it work. We will not return. We had a reservation and were seated quickly, but it took over 10 minutes for a server to approach us. Once we got water and ordered drinks, it was another thirty minutes before we saw our server again. At one point we had been there for 70 minutes and seen our server twice. We ordered three different empanadas and three tacos. The empanadas came out and were just okay, and one of them was not what we ordered. The tacos were just as basic. For a better empanada I would recommend the Arepa Place. For better tacos and much faster service I’d go to Mazunte. The only part of the meal that was worth the price were the cocktails, which were solid. Che most certainly did not live up to the hype. The food was good, but it is not Argentinian authentic. I would reconsider if you want real Argentinian Atmosphere, the waitress is absolutely wonderful but it’s definitely not an Argentinian restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $70–80
