Thank you for holding it down on Sunday and feeding our group for the Final de la Copa Mundial!! The empanadas and alfajores helped us feel better despite the unfortunate outcome. These are the best empanadas in the area, taste just like being in Argentina. Te re apreciamos, muchisimas gracias Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

I saw they have often surprise bags on Too Good To Go, so I went to try just one beef empanada and see if I’ll like it. Regular price is $5 per one empanada which I think is waaaay too much for the size of it. The lady behind counter wasn’t very nice, I had a feeling I’m an inconvenience for her. NO CASH. I paid, she said it’s on the way, went to the kitchen and came in literally one second with warm empanada. As they sell also frozen ones to take home, I have my doubts about freshness. Taste-wise it was I would say a decent empanada. For my tasting it lacked a LOT of salt and I couldn’t taste any of beef. But didn’t taste old, dough was nice. Would I get it again - NO. Would I consider a surprise bag from Too Good To Go with 3 empanadas for $5? Maybe. But probably not. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Showed up late left blown away. I walked up to Che Empanadas right before closing, fully expecting slim pickings-and yep, most of the options I had my heart set on were already gone. So I pivoted and ordered a couple I hadn’t planned on trying. Best decision I didn’t mean to make. The woman at the register was incredibly kind and even threw in an extra empanada since they were closing (which already earned major points). But then I took a bite and wow. Every single one was ridiculously good. Crispy, flavorful, and somehow better than what I originally came for. Honestly, I couldn’t even tell you exactly what was in each one, I just know Che Empanadas doesn’t miss. If this is how good they are at the end of the day with limited options, I can’t wait to come back earlier and try the full lineup.
