Checkers, a restaurant I’ve been a loyal fan of, has undergone significant changes that have left me disappointed. While the food remains decent, the most noticeable difference is the exorbitant pricing. For instance, ketchup, a staple condiment, is now charged at a whopping 50 cents for a few packs that should be free. Even dipping sauces are not spared from this price hike. The customer service at Checkers has also taken a nosedive. It’s disheartening to witness such a decline in the quality of service that I’ve come to expect from a restaurant of this caliber. While I remain hopeful that things will improve in the coming months, my current experience leaves me with a negative review. For your information, this location is privately owned and not affiliated with the corporate chain. Consequently, not all deals or promotions are available here. Also, it is the only location available in North Carolina. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
