This place was awesome. The hostess was friendly and helpful in getting us a table for 5. The waiter get us everything we asked for and kept our refills coming. The croissants and onion rings were to die for. It had a good atmosphere. The restaurant is kept clean and pretty. It offers competitive prices. Food has big portions. Location is near the outlets. This review is for the Garland location off George Bush and N Garland Ave. I felt very comfortable dining alone, the vibe at Cheddars is relaxing and peaceful. As always the veggie plate was delicious however the service was barely adequate. I waited 20 mins before a server came to the table, and no it was not busy. I had to ask for the complementary croissants, which are normally automatically served right away when they bring beverages. When my food arrived I had no silverware to eat with, I finally got up and went to the server station to get for myself. After finishing eating I had to ask another server for my check and a to go box. I had requested a tea refill when she brought my order, she acknowledged it but never returned nor did she ever bring a drink refill. I could understand if this was peak dining time or if they were slammed but I arrived and was seated without a wait at approx 8pm and was literally the only person dining in that immediate area. Cheddars food is consistently great, maybe I'll stick to calling ahead and do curbside pickup. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Honey Butter Croissants, Broccoli Cheese Casserole, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Grilled Chicken Salad, Caesar Salad
