We had a great dining experience at Chef Faiz Restaurant in Alor Setar. The food was tasty, served hot, and came out really fast great service overall! As Kedahan Malaysian, we are used to dishes with strong, rich flavors. The sambal here was good but did not have quite the same “kick” as what we are used to from other famous nasi Arab places in Alor Setar. Also, instead of jelatah, they serve only slices of cucumber and raw carrot. On the positive side, the tea with peppermint was beautifully served and wonderfully hot we loved it! The orange juice was freshly squeezed and refreshing, and the kebab was made with very fresh, flavorful meat. The highlight of our meal was definitely the Kunafa simply unbeatable! The cheese they use is rich, creamy, and full of flavor. If anyone knows the brand of it please let me know. Overall, a very good experience delicious food, fast service, and a few minor areas to improve. Definitely recommended! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: RM 140–160 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is so nice to an extent that everytime I get cravings I think about Chef Faez. The staff are also too friendly most especially the lady who is sometimes at the cashier point. In Alor Setar, this is my number one spot for food. I actually highly recommend Mandi Chicken coz it's what I often eat Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Mandi Chicken
