We used to meet up with friends at Chez Germaine before the change of owners. We haven't been back since and last week we wanted to try it, but we won't come back after this disappointment. Starting with the welcome which is not at all warm: the waiter strictly limits himself to his role as waiter, our questions about the dishes are not welcome, we sense avoidance, the smile is absent. At Germaine we loved the choice of artisanal and local beers (La Berlue), but at present only Heineken and Afligem are present on the menu so if you want to drink a good beer don't. On the other hand, there is a choice of local wines. The quality of the tapas is no longer the same either, some remain very good, others much less, but above all it is the quantity that shocked us... and as a result it is very expensive for what you get. eat. The quantity/quality/price ratio is not there. And finally a big disappointment with the dessert which seemed very tempting, we let ourselves be tempted but we shouldn't have: a few crumbs of banofi on a plate covered with whipped cream to hide the emptiness.
