Doesn't exist anymore, now a bagel place. Had a stupid bagel with delicious avocado and bacon, lettuce, tomato. Don't know why you'd want to eat bagels in Amsterdam, but these stupid Americans are everywhere I guess

The one bad thing about visiting Chez Lorraine was not ordering a croissant. What a lovely little cozy french cafe. Food for the soul. Hard to tell what I liked the most, the perfectly handcrafted food, the cute french decor or the sweet and friendly owner. I ordered the quiche. Not the best I’ve had in my entire life, but definitely one worth coming back for. The right amount of ingredients to be able to enjoy the silkiness of the quiche. Perfect pie crust, and baked on point. Got to admit, no matter where you are, the French know what they are doing. Naturally, there is always room for improvement, and coffee could be better. Maybe a partnership with some roaster in the city? Other than that, this place deserves 4 solid stars for its food and 10 for its service.
