Somewhat terrible food & mediocre service. The onion soup was somewhat decent if you want a soup - but definitely not a proper one. Tad salty and not very authentic. Chicken was average, steak tartare is average. The steak was extremely disappointing - the ends were cold to touch and the centre was warm. I told the staff that it was cold and they brought it back to me reheated. They reheated my steak and it was still cold! No apology either. The manager is also pretty rude. Restaurant was pretty empty on a Friday night, if they don’t improve their food quality and service I doubt they’ll be here for much longer Expensive (would’ve been happy to pay if the food was good) but overall below average tasting food and service. Small but adequate menu, delicious food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Good location on a pedestrian street, so no traffic noise. I can highly recommend Chez Lui. Order type: Dine in Price per person: £50–60 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking
