We asked Mami in French if we could have one portion between two, and if vegetarian was possible. She made us a delicious plate of riz parfumé (it looked like little risotto rice) and sauted vegetables with a spicy sauce on the side for 3000 CFA (just under £4.) very good value for money and Mami was very kind. She taught us some words in Wolof too! Jerejef Mami! Price per person: F CFA 1–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: We asked for a vegetarian meal and Mami made it for us

I am so glad we found chez Mami! Going to eat there became a regular routine - our trip wouldn't have been the same without this experience! Always a warm welcome, delicious food - whether it was breakfast or lunch- lovely conversation with Mami and her community.
