As someone with celiac this experience was absolutely fabulous. We went twice!!! Got both signature 5 course meals they were able to swap out the one that wasn’t gluten free for a gluten free dish. everything was really delicious. I felt very very safe. Drinks were also amazing. They even had a gluten free dessert! SERVICE WAS INCREDIBLE! our server Mathieu was so helpful and explained everything really well and made sure everything was gluten free for me. 10/10 would recommend if you find yourself in Tadoussac! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Chez Mathilde. I was seated at the chef’s counter, which allowed me to watch the magic happen in the kitchen up close. What made it truly special was how the chef took the time to explain each ingredient and dish as it was prepared and served. It felt personal, thoughtful, and elevated the entire experience. The attention to detail, both in flavor and presentation, was exceptional. You can really feel the passion behind every plate.
