This is a lovely little spot in Liberty Station, not far from the public market. I was there the day before Mother's Day and wanted to buy some chocolate for my aunt. It took us a moment to find the spot, as we had thought initially that they were in the public market, but they have their own entrance right on the street. It looks a bit like a coffee kiosk. We didn't try any coffee, but I wonder if they have some amazing chocolate or coffee drinks. I saw in another review that they have food there. Truthfully, I think the place could do a bit better with their menu and display. All I saw was the coffee and chocolates. It was a bit confusing trying to figure out the prices of the different sizes of chocolate boxes. I feel like that could have been listed a bit better. Anyway, we bought a large variety box for my aunt, and my husband and I got a box of 5 chocolates for ourselves so we could try them. They have lots of different flavors, including maple bacon and tangerine chili. The chocolate is excellent quality and my favorite so far was the espresso chocolate. I hope my aunt enjoyed her gift, and I would definitely shop there again.

I love coming here for a breakfast with a black coffee. Wonderful interior, make me feel cozy. My usual order is avocado toast with fried egg and black coffee served with a piece of chocolate. Chi Chocolat is the best place to start the day with a smile.
