Overall, we had a nice stay at Punta Chiarito Resort. The property itself is beautiful, with amazing views of the ocean, and the pool and grounds were lovely. We upgraded to a sea-view room and the view was definitely worth it! One thing to note is that our room didn’t really match the photos shown on the website. It wasn’t bad by any means, just noticeably different from what we were expecting based on the pictures. We added breakfast to our stay and, to be honest, it wasn’t great. It wasn’t necessarily bad either, and it was convenient to have at the hotel, but the food selection and quality were probably one of the weaker parts of our stay. The biggest thing I would mention is the location. The resort is pretty secluded and at the bottom of a cliff, so I think this is a great hotel if you’re planning to spend most of your time relaxing on the property. If you want to explore Ischia a lot, though, the location can make things a little tricky. They do have a golf cart shuttle that takes you up to the top of the road, which is helpful, but from there you’re essentially on your own and there isn’t a ton within immediate walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the hotel restaurant overlooking the ocean—the setting was beautiful and the food was great. Overall, it’s a very nice resort with beautiful views and nice amenities, especially the pool. I would recommend it for someone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay where they plan to spend a lot of time at the resort. If your main goal is to get out and explore different parts of Ischia every day, I would probably choose somewhere a little more centrally located.

Such a pity! The hotel is in a terrific location, with breathtaking views over the bay and Sant’Angelo. The swimming pool is truly unique and provides a wonderful, relaxing setting. BUT unfortunately, this is where the positives end. The rooms are in a shockingly poor and run-down condition. We stayed in a standard room but also had the opportunity to see a superior room, and sadly the situation was not much better. Above all, however, the service and overall customer experience were appalling. The staff were incredibly rude and seemed to constantly go out of their way to make us feel unwelcome. We had read similar comments in other reviews before our stay and, regrettably, we should have taken them more seriously. It is such a shame because this hotel has enormous potential: the location, views and pool could make it a truly special place. Unfortunately, in its current state and with this level of service, it simply does not represent good value for money. Regrettably, we would recommend avoiding this hotel. Again: SUCH A PITY!

It was a very nice and relaxing holiday. A spectacular view with a pool of thermal water. Having a small beach down the resort near the hot springs in the sea. High quality food and hospitality. Thanks to all staff and the nice owner.
