Nostalgic. The food is just as good as ever. Been eating at Chicken Bacolod since their first store at Sanvil Mini Golf in Katipunan back in the 90s. However, the staff seemed inattentive. They forgot to serve one item, yet it was included in our bill. Good thing we noticed and had the item removed from our bill. Also, the beef bbq was tough and they always seem to be out of stock of something. This time, they didn’t have beef sisig available. We ordered chicken sisig instead but they forgot to serve it. The worst part: no cashless transactions?! In 2026? We don’t carry cash anymore so we had to go down and get money from the ATM. If you guys don’t want to pay for a card terminal, at least have GCash or Maya as an option. To sum up: still good food, but dining experience ruined by indifferent staff and cash-only payment.
