Wow. Friend from work went and it smelled so good. I waited 3 days to go and try it. I finally did today. The place is clean and priced well. The chicken. The chicken. Was so juicy it was like a soup filled dumpling. I had a thigh. The breading is crispy but not doughy. Juicy but not gamey. Excellent juicy broasted chicken. The broasting process is different from fried chicken. They have special broasting ovens that seal in the juices and make it crispy crunchy on the outside. It's actually dripping with juices when you take a bite. I would definitely recommend. They are at their new location on harbor boulevard. They moved from Whittier boulevard, in La Habra. It's hard to find broasted chicken. I think the next broasted chicken store is close to Long Beach or out by El Monte. I first heard about the chicken box broasted chicken back in the 90s .A punk band called Guttermouth had a couple of lines in a song about this place, so naturally I had to check it out. So far I only had the chicken three ways all are very good. Next time I go I'm gonna try the pulled pork sandwich. This place is way better than kfc, and el pollo loco..Come by and try it. Its very small has only 4 tiny tables. Hopefully you will like it.
