Our entire meal was absolutely delicious. We had a mix of entrees, sides and desserts and it was all fantastic. Trey and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back on our next trip from Roanoke. Many places make you feel like you are bothering them with service but not here at The Chicken Hut. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and attended to. We had a feeling that they were glad we were here. The ordering process was simple and everything was explained. The line moved quickly. I ordered the fried chicken which was cooked to order so it was hot, hot, hot. The greens, okra, potato salad, and mac-n-cheese were equally as good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Thankfully no modern country music but soul staples like Sam Cooke, Gladys Knight, etc. which was a huge plus. The food is not cheap but is definitely worth every penny. Service is top notch. If you are in Durham be sure to stop here. If all restaurants were this welcoming and friendly we would all be happier people. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
