This is such a gem of a restaurant. As a southeast Asian native, it’s not common to find places that scratch the itch of authentic street food. This place got it all! The poached chicken is so well done and the sauces so tasty (ginger soybean and ginger scallion) that we came here twice on our short trip. The larb was great too if you are looking for a more refreshing option. The simple fried rice served hot was also one of the best simple yet delicious fried rice dishes I have had in a while. They can also accommodate vegetarian options by subbing tofu for many main courses. Just tried their cashew tofu and it’s awesome! Highly recommended. Oh make sure to order at the counter. This place is AUTHENTIC. I haven’t had Thai tom yum soup with this much flavor, spice and sour since I was in Thailand few years ago! I also ordered the Hainan Style chicken and it tasted like my childhood growing up with my grandparents. The chicken was tender and juicy and the scallion ginger sauce tied it all together perfectly! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place of you’ve ever been to Asia and tried these classics Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a great experience at Chicken and Rice Asian Street Food. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The chicken and rice platter was delicious, the soup had a rich and comforting flavor, and the fried rice was also very tasty. The interior was clean, bright, and welcoming, with colorful decor that gave the place a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
