This place converted me from Osaka style to Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. Seems to be a single guy who owns the place and he's super friendly. Food was excellent, quiet atmosphere, felt very authentic Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I loved every bite of the okonomiyaki and every minute chatting with the sweetest lady who prepared the okonomiyaki for me. They close at 2pm/3pm (I’m not sure exactly which time) and they reopen at 5pm. I arrived at 3:30pm and she apologized and said they’re close and will open again at 5pm. So I walked around Genbaku dome and returned at around 4:50ish but she saw me and she invited me inside even though I was a bit early. I told her I saw good reviews here on Google but it seems like she’s not aware that there are Google reviews about Chika. I showed her the photos here and the good reviews and she said ‘ureshii’ which means she’s very delighted to hear good reviews. I will be back again here before I leave Hiroshima. My Japanese is limited but she’s very patient listening to me and waiting for me to search on Google translate what I wanted to say. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
