We came here on a recommendation from Toshihiro Kuramoto who runs B&B Kuranoya. Unfortunately because we only had limited time in Tōno but wanted to try the food and sample different sakes we did not arrive with an empty stomach! We made room for the Tonkatsu Pork, another chicken dish with the most amazing sauce, miso vegetables, some pickles and a few very generously poured sakes! The most amazing thing of all is Chikara very kindly gave us a lift back to our B&B. If we come back to Tōno- definitely eating here again.
