So initially we ordered the queso fundido (which was great), one taco, one tostada and one burrito. (He proceeds to haze my girlfriend by saying shes the only client in years to order only one taco instead of three) We asked for specifics on the burrito and taco since I cant eat guacamole or cream and the server (appears to be the owner) basically hazed us because we werent buying the whole thing”mexican experience”. Every time we ordered something and asked for it in our way, it was a whole thing,. The menu says it has queso fundido with bacon, i ordered with bacon and he started saying “oh we usually dont serve it with bacon, its not traditional, etc”. Okay then why do you have it on the menu? I asked for a coke zero and he said “why not drink a mexican soda instead”, which i then proceed to get a horchata (wasnt all that). I get you want to push the culture but it was intense. We even asked for guacamole on the side and he says “oh that food doesnt go with guacamole” bro, i do not care just give me a guacamole. They took back my girlfriend’s plate three times before they gave it correctly. They even took out the pineapple from her taco al pastor becase “it was pushed to the side” which was not, it just fell to the side. At the end, he proceeds to tell us that this place is mostly for mexicans. I get it completely. But bro, i honestly could not eat in peace, even felt guilty eating what i ordered because he kept harassing us with “his preference”. He told us that the order took longer because “80% of the ingredientes were removed” we only removed the guac and the cream. How does food take longer if you eliminated stuff. Does not make sense. All he did was try to make us feel bad for not eating the way he wants. Would not recommend if you’re a picky eater or someone that likes specifics on their food (removing or adding stuff).
