Best Chinese food we’ve had in northern San Diego county. Fish and beef ribeye outstanding. Tofu as well. Very attentive and personal service. Will return often. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

I have never once been compelled to write a review; however the food and service were so subpar that I feel it would be unethical if I did not. I visit California often and am very well-versed in Chinese cuisine. The fact that they have the audacity to label themselves as "China Gourmet" should be illegal. I came in with a big appetite, expecting"gourmet". What I received was what I consider pig slop. I couldn't even bring myself to finish the food. It's safe to say I left with a big appetite as well. If it were the food alone, I wouldn't even bother leaving a review. It was not the food alone. The service I received was straight disrespectful- there is no other word to describe it. I was treated as if they were bothered to have a customer. All in all, this has got to be the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Dear "Hannah", are you a real customer? I am asking since I find your review fake: you took the effort to spout out over a hundred of words, but none of them are about the real facts, like when you visited, what dishes you ordered, and how 'bad' they tasted to you.If you are truly "well-versed" in Chinese cuisine, you should have the ability to describe the food you disliked so much (by the way it would be well versed, not well-versed); if you were a real person, you should have the decency to say it to my face - many our customers do and we always make it right for them, because we are a local restaurant, and we treat our customers like genuine kith and kin.Your review is probably the longest, but also the phoniest one we received. It is a shame on you to make up such a fictious and malicious review, it is a disgrace for Google to allow it being published.
