Everything about it was just okay. The food was okay, the service was okay, the place itself was ok. However, the chicken dish we ordered ruined my stomach but didn't bother anyone else in my family. I suspect that this is because I have a sensitivity to shrimp, and the way that they prepared the dish introduced some into my chicken. If I had a shellfish allergy that resulted in anaphylaxis, I might have been really screwed. Add to this the fact that it felt a little pricey and 2 stars it is. Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices here, as long as they're not cooking the vegetables in the same pan used for shrimp and other meats. Dietary restrictions: You should be able to find something that suits you. Parking: No problem - it's a strip mall. Kid-friendliness: If your kids like Chinese food, you're good. Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking out front and easy access inside. Food was bland but the service was the worst I have ever seen. I called in a large order at 11:00 AM to be picked up for a party at 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve. They had the order but had not even started it at 5:00 pm!! On top of that they took other orders and filled them before our order. I had to wait 1 hour for them to fill the order. When we got it home it was not good!!! Small portions, no taste and very little esthetic appeal. I will NEVER order from the China House Restaurant in Auburn, WA again!!!!!!!!!!
