We ordered our usual from here & unfortunately the salt & pepper chicken was more gritty than meat. The house special chow mein was tasteless & the Singapore vermicelli had like a curry paste in it which wasn't nice. We have ordered form here many times & it's always been 10/10. Not sure if you've got your ingredients from somewhere different or a different chef but unfortunately it wasn't enjoyable. The staff are so so friendly & even recognise us when we order. I hope this will be seen as constructive criticism. I wanted to send a private email but there wasn't an option to do so. Have been a regular with China Kitchen for YEARS - even in the 70's, before it became China Kitchen. We live 1 mile away, according to Google directions. Sunday 28th July 2023 - ordered food for two people through Just Eat. Order confirmed at 18.58. Order cancelled at 19.15 - NO EXPLANATION ! - simply cancelled and money refunded. So had to find alternative food. Absolutely disgusted. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
