Do not delay your visit – seriously, the Chinese cuisine is waiting for you. You can always try tasty egg rolls, sweet & sour chicken and chicken and rice - a special offer of this restaurant. China Town with takeout food is good for those clients who like to have dinner on the go. Most visitors indicate that the staff is competent. The prompt service is a big advantage of this place. Prices are found reasonable here. When inside, the atmosphere is cozy. This spot is ranked 4.3 within the Google grading system.

China Town restaurant, nestled in a shopping center in Troy, AL, offers a convenient yet unremarkable dining experience. Since COVID, they haven't resumed offering seating; tables and chairs are stacked along the sides, emphasizing their focus on takeout. I recently ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork combo to go, which included fried rice and an egg roll as sides. The rice, intriguingly yellow as if saffron was used, was dry but flavorful with bits of pork. However, it lacked the usual vegetables. The sweet and sour pork was fresh, piping hot, and undeniably tasty, albeit greasy, with the classic red sauce served on the side. The cashier's demeanor was notably nonchalant, focused solely on taking my order and moving me along, despite me being the only customer at the time. A bit of engagement would have enhanced the experience. Overall, China Town seems to be a run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant. If you're looking for a quick, inexpensive lunch with minimal fuss, this spot will suffice. However, it doesn't offer anything particularly special or memorable. I'd recommend sprucing up the place and making it feel more appealing and welcoming.
