first time visiting on a quiet Sunday, great customer service from Sharron (I believe that was her name?!) lots to choose from on the menu, food came out on good time, some great items but nothing out of this world or anything that stood out in particular. just avg fast food under a fancy setting. a little on the pricey side too but I think they’ve got discounted hours on certain days. total for 4 people came up to £76 with discount (would’ve been over £100) i’d defo go back to try more food tho! A very strange experience was had at Chipsy. I decided to take a trip here with my family after hearing about it online and I was honestly very excited when I saw the google rating. First of all, it was very quiet, which would ordinarily be nice but it just felt off. The music was incredibly loud so given we were the only customers my husband asked if they could turn it down, which they did, but soon after turned it back up. The guy who said he was the owner of that shop behaved really odd with one of his female workers, strangling her?? (Not sure if it was playful or not). On to the food the chips seemed like frozen chips to me. We tried both types and although they were good and freshly cooked, I’m just not convinced they’re made in house which they seem to pride themselves on. I’ve had identical rustic chips from another place and those were definitely not made in house. The poutine was expensive for the portion and again, the cheese seemed like mozzarella, not curds which would be more authentic. And although the gravy was nice, it seemed like basic Bisto with a bit of meat dripping in. Certainly not worth the expensive price tag. The brisket was again good, but honestly they need an award for how paper thin the slices were. Most places give much thicker slices for the same price and I believe if you weighed the portions side by side this one may well be only a fraction of the weight. The buffalo chicken burger was very basic and not even fully covered in the sauce. Poorly executed and a shadow of the branded buns we saw on other people’s Google review pics. The lamb ribs were probably the best thing we ordered, but it’s a given that they’re mostly fat and very heavy. Tasted good though. A big irk of mine is also that you have to pay for sauces? If they’re made in house I can understand. But please, can people stop charging me for ketchup from a bottle! Overall the food was just “fine” but the price point was extortionate. For the food we got and the price we paid, I would not honestly be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

The food is exceptionally good. I say this because they have improved with time and I can guarantee that you will love it too. Everything we had was absolutely delicious (jalapeño poppers, Peri Peri loaded chicken fries, Peri Peri burger, brisket and beef sando). Moreover, the lovely server was so kind and polite that she gave us a complimentary dessert, which was also very good! Do try their food, you'll have a good experience.
