Tonight was my first visit to Rosy’s and it was okay at best. This is a 21 and older restaurant only, so you can’t take your kids there. The atmosphere was so-so, the pictures on the wall were “cartoonish”, the walls need a good paint job and the furniture looked like it was bought from a thrift store. There’s no real design to this restaurant. They have beer taps but no beer on tap, only bottled beer. The food was good, not great as my rice was cold. I might go back in a few months to see if they’re fully set-up and have developed a real design instead of just a big room with tables and chairs. Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Tried Rosy’s Mexican Grill & Bar in Poquoson for lunch and it instantly became a new regular spot. I ordered the Special #5 the burrito and enchiladas and everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. My wife had the beef taco salad, which was fresh and generously portioned. We also grabbed the guacamole dip, plus chips and salsa. The chips were perfectly crisp, and the salsa hit that sweet spot of fresh and savory.
