If you’re a seafood lover, Choonda Restaurant in East Ham is definitely a place you should visit! We ordered Kallumakkai Fry, Puttu with Fish Curry, Chala Fry, Appam, Lime Juice, and Prawns Mango Curry. Every single dish was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavours, and cooked to perfection. We genuinely enjoyed every bite! What made our experience even better was the excellent service. A special thanks to Mr. Deva, who was incredibly kind, humble, and attentive throughout our visit. From taking our order to making sure everything was perfect until we left, he looked after us with great care and professionalism. We would also like to appreciate Ms. Hamna, who was friendly, professional, and provided wonderful service. Great food, excellent hospitality, and a warm atmosphere — everything was spot on. We 200% recommend Choonda Restaurant to anyone looking for amazing Kerala seafood and outstanding customer service. We can’t wait to visit again! Fish lovers this is your place !! All the food we ordered were great. Fish mango curry with paratha is absolutely amazing. Today we visited this restaurant for a seafood platter and traveled more than an hour expecting good seafood. We waited 30 - 40 minutes because they said it would be made fresh and it’s completely understandable, and paid £45. Unfortunately, the squid had no salt, the crab was not fresh and the meat tasted very bad, and the rice was undercooked. The overall experience was very disappointing. They given 10% discount, but for us it was not about the money — we expected quality food and service. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
