I used to come here a lot to find the nostalgic flavor, not anymore after tonight. It’s another supposed to be the authentic Hunan restaurant in town and yet had the owner or chef changed, the ingredients that the previous chef used to use are all different now - Preserved meat is substituted by cheap bacon, luosi pepper by jalapeños, potstickers are those frozen ones from general grocery stores (not the handmade anymore), the cooks are barely slicing their ingredients mindfully as before, just chunk them up and throw in the wok to get a superficial smoky flavor. The menu is updated to plain printing with previous names and the food is nothing like before, purely for catering people who don’t understand the culture behind good chinese food. FYI to the current sourcing manager - for authentic preserved meat, the process involves curing, seasoning, and slow cooking at low temperatures to achieve tender, flavorful results for tough cuts like brisket and pork shoulder to break down connective tissue. It should taste like smoked meat, not bacon. And a dry pot is supposed to be cook in a pot until the sauce is fully absorbed by the food before being served in the SAME pot - not to mix the food in a wok and put in a pot-like dish to serve :) you charged the premium for dry pot as they did before, and yet delivered a stir fry in a pot dish. Being sneaky on the quality to max $ is not a sustainable business here :). Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

We wanted some Chinese food, did an Apple Map search from our location and found Chopsticks. We had a fantastic meal! Parking was on the street and we were lucky to get a spot close by. The service was friendly and great. We were between lunch and dinner, so it was not crowded. We had Deep-Fried Veggie rolls to start and they were a great start while I tried to decide on what to order because there were so many great choices. I did a build Your own Bento Box and my wife did the Chicken Teriyaki and both were really good. We will be back because the food was great, the service was great and it was a nice place to eat.
