Went to the restaurant as recommended for lunch with friends, and was not disappointed at all. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The environment was relaxing and clean. The food was excellent and at a very reasonable price. Portions were very good and very tasty. If you get a chance to eat at the restaurant. It will be well worth it. Did go into the bar, which is a traditional bar with local Clientele Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Steak Pie, Haggis Fritters

The food was very delicious,especially the dressing with my starter, and there was so much in my main that i couldn't eat it all,which is quite unusual these days to have a 'hearty serving',also delicious and Husband had Steak in Peppercorn sauce, which he managed to eat all of his which he doesn't usually do,as there was so much, but he said it was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and friendly and although very busy were attentive too. Neither of us had alcohol but our soft drinks were good,and plenty of ice as the temp on the day was 29°,and the overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. It was reasonably priced too and cost us £32 and odd pence for 1 starter 2 'hearty' portion mains and 4 pint of soft drinks. We really enjoyed it and will definately be going back. I highly recommend Christina's Bar and Restaurant. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Tempura
