I have been to Christy’s Cafe a few times in the past. I remember the service being good and the food being good, however, I always remember it taking a while to get your food. When my Aunt and I decided to go out for breakfast, I suggested Christy’s Cafe before going to the square to look around during the market. We got there just before 10am and were told it would be 15-20 minute wait. We were hungry but okay with the short wait for a table. People started rolling in more and more and getting more hungry, we noticed it had been 50 minutes. I asked the lady taking names how much longer it would be and although she was nice, she said “we are catching up in the kitchen, we should be seating you soon.” We waited another 15 minutes and still nothing was happening. My Aunt and I ended up going down the street and had to get lunch because we missed breakfast from waited at Christy’s Cafe for so long. I understand restaurants get busy and a lot of places are short staffed, but I think it’s important to not underestimate by an hour. I think any customer would rather wait with the expectation of 30 minutes and wait 15-20 rather than wait with the expectation of 20 minutes and actually wait an hour. It wastes your customers time and makes it difficult to earn loyal customers. I appreciate the friendliness though! Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We were on vacation and found this spot. The only downside was the parking is very limited and for customers that are not familiar with the area could cause them to get a ticket or towed. Christy's Cafe is a fantastic restaurant! The food is delicious, with medium to large servings at a lower cost than other places I've tried. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy, like being at home. The parking lot out back is pretty small and can become crowded. I ordered the vegetarian skillet and loved the tasty veggies and perfectly cooked eggs (although it's served on a plate, not in a skillet). Finally, their beignets are a must get! They were so yummy and fluffy! This place is more like a charming small-town diner than a busy corporate Waffle House. I would say this is one of the best breakfast restaurants in Newnan, Georgia!
