We had such a great experience at Chugs Diner! The flat iron pancake was incredible — perfectly cooked and seriously delicious. Honestly, all of the food we ordered was amazing. The service was excellent and the atmosphere made it even better — welcoming, comfortable, and just an overall great vibe. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

After a long day at Coconut Grove, I was hungry. I came into Chug's Diner with good expectations, the reviews were stellar, the ambiance was nothing less than that of a local cornerstone, but what blew me away was the Frita Meatball Hoagie. I've wanted this in every meatball sub I've ever eaten, the slightly spicy marinara and meatballs were softly countered by the mozzarella, the hoagie's pillowy buns were buttery and indulgent, and the small fritas inside added a fitting crunch to the entire sandwich. This diner made me feel a sense of comfort that I only feel with food made with love, and I appraise this entire restaurant for it's culinary finesse. If you come here, expect to eat some of the best sandwiches you'll ever eat.
