My sister in law and I went here for lunch for my birthday. Wow, this place is awesome. Outside and inside bedecked for Christmas. What a beautiful aura for customers. We ordered our food and drinks. We had the steak pie and the steak pudding. Oh my goodness, everything was delicious, the home cut chips and mushy peas were to die for. The staff are very pleasant and we didn't wait long for our meals, about 10 mins. The open fire was a welcome sight as it was quite a cold but bright day. I had to write this review as I have reviewed lots of places to eat in the past, but the Church Inn is one not to miss. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone as it serves the best food that I have ever tasted. Long may you all reign, you are all 2nd to none. Bravo to owners, chefs and waiting staff. A most pleasurable afternoon spent in a delightful location. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
