In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Yoteizan, stop by this bar. But Chuya is not highly estimated by Google users who provided it a below average rating.

Stopped in for a quick lunch after activities at Pure. Friendly staff, but it was the worst yakitori I've had in the world. Terribly under seasoned, and it looked/tasted like it was microwaved. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you for stopping by after your activities at PURE and for taking the time to share your thoughts. While we’re pleased to hear you found our staff friendly, we are truly sorry to learn that the yakitori did not meet your expectations in flavor or preparation. This is certainly not the standard we aim to deliver, and your feedback has been shared with our culinary team so they can review seasoning and preparation methods to ensure consistency and quality. We appreciate your comments and hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide a meal that meets the high standards we strive for.

Nice and quiet store and good location, the staff were nice. However, the cremia ice cream they advertised tasted off. It did not look like the regular cremia milk soft serve. It was an off-white, closer to yellow colour and tasted completely different, it was overly sweet and cheap tasting. It was also not served the regular way cremia is served (it was a swirl rather than a dollop) which makes me think they simply used the cremia cone (which was also stale!) and put cheap ice cream in it, falsely advertising it as cremia (for 800yen!). If it was actually cremia, it was probably expired since it tasted strange. I have never had a cremia ice cream that tasted like this. I have yet to try their other desserts or dishes but their false advertising has thrown me off going back again. Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Thank you for visiting Chuya and for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the location convenient and our staff welcoming. We are, however, very concerned to learn about your experience with the Cremia ice cream. We use authentic Cremia products and aim to serve them in their best condition, so it is disappointing to hear that it did not meet your expectations in taste, appearance, or presentation. Your comments have been shared with our culinary team so they can investigate the matter and review preparation and service standards to ensure consistency and quality. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps us improve. We do hope you might consider returning in the future to try other desserts and dishes, and to experience the high standards we strive to uphold.

Chuya Teahouse was a bit off-location but closed to the public toilet. It’s located nearby small slope for kids which was at the far left of Niseko village. Menu has limited choice of 4 cakes but nicely displayed on the counter, making it easy to choose. The staff was polite and serve with good manner, specially Thai staff. Matcha cake gave velvety smooth texture. Matcha was not too strong nor light with zesty yuzu inside. So balanced with long mouthfeel. Strawberry Chou was too tasty that mom finished it within seconds. It was the last piece at the tea bar so I had no chance to taste. Matcha Chou was fluffy. Chou shell was soft and chewy. Matcha again was moderately flavored it was a good taste. Matcha latte and hot chocolate also great. Overall experience was perfect. We had series of bad experience at hotel during the festive season so this dessert time was a great treat. We learned later that the tea house belongs to Ritz Carlton Hotel. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
