We did a private food tour of Napoli, and our host, Giovanni, brought us here first to taste their fresh buffalo mozzarella. Cicol serves official Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP. They make it fresh every morning. It had a rich and creamy taste with a mildly tangy, earthy undertone. It has a delicate, porcelain-white porcelain skin that breaks to reveal an incredibly soft, moist interior that releases sweet, milky whey when bitten. See the pics. Yummy! Thw worst pie we had in 12 days of Naples & islands, with overcooked and not the freshest vegetables. Unclear pricing for tourists, where the window price seems to be per piece but then half the window piece costs 60% more because it was seemingly per weight. One can impossibly verify, but compared to prices in other bars in the region, they are either substantially more expensive, or they give you the tourist price.
