Must-Try Hidden Gem in Philadelphia! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Cily Chicken Rice and Thai Food. The food was exceptional, flavorful, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. I ordered the mixed chicken with the radish soup and spicy sauce, and everything was delicious. The steamed chicken reminded me of the amazing chicken rice I’ve only ever been able to find in New York City, so I was thrilled to discover it here. The crispy chicken was perfectly fried and wonderfully seasoned. The spicy sauce actually had real heat (which I loved!), and the garlic sauce was amazing. I could eat it with just about anything. The rice was fragrant, the cucumbers were refreshing, and even the radish soup, which I tried for the first time, was comforting and flavorful. Portions were generous, and I left with leftovers and a very happy stomach. What made the experience even more special was the kindness and hospitality. I came with my Goldendoodle, Brandi, and wanted to be respectful and not bring her inside. The staff still came over with a menu, took my order by the door, and were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They are cash only, so keep that in mind, but the service was absolutely worth it. The gentleman who took my order was so kind, and I truly appreciated how welcoming everyone was. Brandi and I both went to bed with full bellies and happy tummies. This place is truly a hidden gem in Philadelphia, and I can’t recommend it enough. Five stars all around. I will definitely be back!
