Hello, THIS MESSAGE IS BEING SENT TO RAISE A COMPLAINT REGARDING ONE OF YOUR STAFF MEMBERS, NAMED TAWFEEQ, WHO WAS WORKING THE NIGHT SHIFT TODAY, 28 NOVEMBER 2025, AT YOUR CINE CAFE BRANCH IN AL REEM CENTER. An incident took place today that left me extremely disappointed and embarrassed. My friend and I sat at the outdoor tables in front of Baskin Robbins after purchasing ice cream from BR. Since many families were already sitting at those tables with their BR items, we assumed it was acceptable for us to sit as well while we studied. However, the first interaction we had with your staff member, Tawfeeq, was shockingly disrespectful. In front of everyone, he approached us and said, “REMOVE YOUR GARBAGE LATER.” He could have politely informed us that the tables were for your customers only, but instead he chose to speak in a rude and unprofessional manner. This behavior is completely unacceptable from any staff member under any circumstances. Around 30 minutes later, he returned and told us that the tables belonged to your restaurant and asked how long we would be staying. Again, the tone and manner were inappropriate and unwelcoming. Another 15 minutes later, he asked us to move entirely. When I asked for his name, he raised his voice at me in front of everyone and said, “My name is Tawfeeq, and if you want to complain, go ahead, complain—I don’t care.” This was extremely humiliating and uncalled for. What made the situation even more frustrating is that he only targeted our table, even though there were 2–3 other tables occupied by families who also did not purchase anything from your café. If his argument was that the tables are for Cine Cafe customers only, he should have approached everyone equally instead of singling us out. Unfortunately, because of this experience, you have lost a regular Saya branch customer, and I will not be recommending your café to anyone moving forward. Thank you. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
