“Two Forks” Gambero Rosso and “Best proposal by the glass 2021” are the business card of 47 Circus Roof Garden, Italian restaurant and cocktail bar on the 6th floor of 47 Boutique Hotel, surrounded by some of the most fascinating architectural jewels of the Eternal City: Piazza della Bocca della Verità and Forum Boarium. Our chef Michele Giovannini pays great attention to the seasonality of the ingredients and uses the best herbs and spices to have a healthy, but at the same time extremely tasty, cuisine. The aperitif at sunset with a view of Rome is unmissable and the cocktails perfectly match with the courses on the menu. In addition to the constantly updated drink list, there is a wide selection of the best Italian wines and over 50 gin labels from all over the world.

Honestly I thought the reviews were too harsh, but it's true: this restaurant offers a magnificent view and nothing else. I'm used to go to Michelin starred restaurant and honestly there's nothing worst than just an average restaurant pretending tobe at michelin's level. Overpriced (with an error on the receipt for which we have not been). Not organised. Not pleasant. Staff absolutely not up to the environment... One example on all: I have food allergies and tried to ask for a different dish to stil get the set menu. The answer was "no, we aren't able to offer changes, order a la carte and no experience for you".... No need to say this is not what you expect. Especially when the food is not tasty at all, at least they should compensate with the service. Also, we got an aperitivo. It was supposed to be an alcoholic drink but the alcohol was non existent and when they asked about it and I gave a honest feedback, their answer was that is good that in a drink you don't taste the alcohol... That's it. Overpriced for nothing. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €90–100

We had a beautiful evening at 47 Circus Roof Garden. We arrived after dark so we missed the great views but still very pretty at night. I wish we could have ordered off the menu but because we had a party of 6 we were required to have the tasting menu. Dario was great at accommodating our special requests. The rooftop restaurant was gorgeous. So glad we came here for a special evening! Thanks Dario!

Hands down, the best experience we have had from any restaurant in Rome! Dario, the restaurant manager made our night so special! If we lived in Rome we would be here EVERY NIGHT! 10/10 view, food and drinks and service!
