I recently visited Cirrus Dining for Easter lunch, and while the experience had its highlights, there were some aspects that left me a bit underwhelmed. Firstly, the Charcoal Grilled Bread with Whipped Cod Roe was an absolute delight, bursting with flavor and texture. The oysters were also a standout, fresh and delicious. However, the scallops seemed a bit strange. The combination of pistachio with grapefruit lacked the expected freshness and flavour. Our waitress, Farah, provided excellent recommendations and was attentive throughout the meal, enhancing the overall experience. She checked in on us a number of times and really provided a fantastic service. Unfortunately, the temperature of the Prosecco and wine served was too warm, requiring me to add ice to enjoy them properly. I was surprised to find that the menu prices were higher than those advertised online, despite the website indicating that the a la carte menu would be available for Easter. I would have thought that the menu would have run as normal and that this would be covered by the 15% public holiday surcharge, was disappointing. Overall, while Cirrus Dining offered some memorable dishes and attentive service, the inconsistencies in menu pricing and beverage temperature detracted from an otherwise enjoyable Easter lunch experience.
