The menu of Mexican cuisine is to the pleasure of all clients here. Being at City Market, eat good mexican tacos, seafood and tortillas. The hospitable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The cool service shows a high level of quality at this place. Prices are found fair here. I sure wish people would just review restaurants based off how the food tastes rather than giving them one star for not putting salsa in the bag or maybe the customer service wasn’t up to par. Get over it people. Provide an honest review about the food and then maybe comment about the ancillary things as it applies to everything else. Stop giving one star reviews for things unrelated to how the food tastes This is by far my favorite place to get Mexican food nowadays. Everything is authentic from their rice and beans to their handmade tortillas. The shrimp fajitas, Chile Verde wet burrito, shrimp cocktail, and any one of their tacos with handmade tortillas are all excellent. Don’t pay attention to the one star reviews that have nothing to offer when it comes to critiquing the taste of their food.

I had a very disappointing experience at City Market in Reedley with Kenia. I asked for a simple side of rice and beans for my 2-year-old, and was told it wasn’t possible. What Mexican food establishment doesn’t offer rice and beans as a side, especially for a child? To make it worse, there were two full pans of beans sitting in the hotwell and a fresh pot cooking on the stove. Kenia’s excuse was, “This is for food orders.” Is my toddler’s meal not considered a food order? This level of customer service is unacceptable. Refusing such a basic request shows a lack of care for families and customers in general. I will think twice before returning here.

I come and always greet everyone. I'm a public service guy. I always offer people help. I give out free phones and I do Uber for the people. But these guys. They just there to sell. They hate if you ask for lemons for their food they offer. Every time I go they treat me crap they talk behind my back and get mad when I ask for something to go for my burrito or so. They are rude and doesn't know that their hurting their customer. They should smile when they see you. They should work for us. I work for the people and God they should to. It's sad that I get out of work tired and sometimes depress. Yet I smile back to everyone with positive. They need to do so and not take their hate to their customer. I been buying here for 5 years. Worker need new jobs at the field. They need humble people who can treat their customer well. I bet most if not all work illegal there. Ice need to visit there.
