Recently purchased a gift card for the business but they abruptly closed and are REFUSING to reimburse our gift card. What if went into their restaurant and refused to pay my bill? That wouldn't go over well.

Spent the night in Victor and this place was recommended to me. Went 2/7/23. Ordered take out meal which was Ribeye steak, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The steak was huge..it absolutely lacked flavor. The entire meal had water in the take out container which I believe from undrained Brussel sprouts. Took a few bits...was going to return the entire meal and then said the heck with it. Tossed the meal and went to Moe's and had a most excellent dinner. Would not go back here and do not recommend. Feel like I got a "garbage plate"

We have ordered delivery from City Tavern twice recently, both times we really enjoyed our meals! My husband usually orders one of the burgers which are very good, and the reuben sandwich is amazing! Also they have VERY good fries!! We recently tried the mac & cheese, it was just OK. Both times we ordered, our food arrived hot and fresh. We are hoping to visit to dine-in at City Tavern soon!!
