Room full of mosquitos, and rude receptionist , no outdoor food or drinks so your force to buy from them. other than that the hotel is a good place

We were looking forward to our stay at Hotel Ciudad Real Palenque. The plus side would be the location and pool. The hotel manager should really give the staff training in customer service. We stay in many hotels and the service in this one is unfriendly. This was more so at dinner in the evening where the serving staff didn’t seem to understand what friendly service is. The rooms too are dated and ours was not clean on arrival. Such a shame, a strong manager would be able to sort this out with ease and get the staff team focused on hospitality. Service: 1
