Great place, good food(although could be better) and amazing hookah. My only problem is one of the staff who never smiles and is frowning always. This is the second time I come at breakfast time, and the guy is very unwelcoming. Am not sure what his name is, but honestly he is very unwelcoming, and barely replies whenever we say thank you, when he gets us any orders! We visited at night couple of times, there are more staff, and they are mostly much more welcoming. Price per person: JOD 10–15 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

I came without reservation in peak hours with my infant son, they were welcoming and treated me like family, served me with love and did everything to help me and my child spend quality time although it was a cafe.. Clay Cafe is definitely positioned in the mid-to-high-end category of spots in Amman, and honestly, it delivers on the vibe. The argileh is consistently good but not great, and the drinks are well-prepared and tasty but not wow. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, they feel completely justified by the service, which is easily the highlight of the experience. The waiters are incredibly professional and attentive—you barely have to glance up before someone is right there ready to serve you. It’s rare to find this level of alertness in Amman, and it’s a huge plus. The atmosphere and decor are artistic and cozy, making it a nice spot to hang out, and the food menu (especially the pizza and desserts) is quite decent according to many.
