Food was good,plenty of meat etc,not all sauce like some places. ,the starters were a bit small,and i would have liked it a bit more spicy ,but thats my oppinion ,,however, it was very nice ,very enjoyable...the place is plain and simple,nice and clean,no music,so you can talk. the server was good and the food didnt take long to arrive ( was only a few in at the time though) , the owner was very friendly,checked we were happy, had a chat, which is a refreshing change nowadays ..a good experience Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tucked in between a charity shop and a takeaway on Ashby High Street, you'll find an amazing little Indian restaurant that has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Clay Oven has amazing staff who are helpful, informative and very funny. They helped me find a meal I'd like that didn't contain any of my allergens, which was cooked to perfection. It's been a very long time since I've truly enjoyed an Indian meal and I can not recommend The Clay Iven highly enough. Thank you for a great night guys.
